Maaaaaaan. This is spoken like someone who’s never had a kidney stone, and needed lasers to be shoved up their urethra, and turned their insides into star wars.

Now when I pee it comes out in 1 stream. Or maybe 6 seperate streams all going different ways. You never know.

All joking aside, drinking more water is genuinely the most effective way to prevent kidney stones. Everyone should drink more water.

Also there’s something about high concentrations of caffeine and sugar ingested at the same time that correlates with higher occurrences of kidney stones, with energy drinks being the worst offenders.

For me it was a combination of working in a factory at 135F degrees, and also drinking as much gatoraid as you can imagine you’d want. I’d buy the 24 pack of 32oz bottles. That would last 1-2 days.

Apperently Gatoraid is also very high in salt.

It also has something to do with water quality I presume, as I was once in a city I learned had the highest incidence of kidney stones in the country, supposedly.
