This is it.

“When ballots are submitted to USPS in large-volume batches, if any one ballot in the batch cannot be verified against the Portal, all ballots in that batch will be rejected. For example, if a state election official brings a batch of 10,000 ballots to USPS and USPS is unable to match just one of those ballots against the Portal—because, for example, someone has recently changed their name after marriage or they’ve moved—then USPS would refuse to mail the remaining 9,999 ballots as well.”

This is just the beginning of them fucking around with mail in ballots. Mail in ballots are historically held to a much stricter standard and are more easily discarded than in person ballots, and this administration, in its desperation to cling to power and avoid repercussions of their actions, will do anything they can to ensure that your ballot wont count if its a mail in ballot.

Which is why its so goddamn important for you to go vote in person in this election. I know its an annoyance to go do, but lots of places have early voting that you can go do and typically be done in surprisingly little time… So, unless you are so heavily disabled/laid up/etc that you physically cant get out of the house… You really need to bite the bullet and go vote in person, no matter what it takes.

because it may very well be the last chance you have to cast a vote that counts.

spreading awareness here that Washington State allows both printing of ballots at home or other places like a public library, and ballots can be dropped off at dedicated ballot boxes typically located at libraries, city halls, etc.

no need to use the post office at all if necessary.

Doesn’t stop them from setting ballot boxes on fire like last time. Go vote in person if you can.

Pretty sure it did happen. Not on a large scale but I want to say Phoenix had some kind of wild shit going down around the election. A guy was shooting at dnc offices, ballot drop(s?) burned, same guy got caught with machine guns an rpg and like 100k rounds but kind of just … faded into obscurity.

You need organize people to pick up and deliver ballots for the indignants and such in every county. Washington is a well run state so I can’t imagine they have bad faith laws restricting legitimate efforts to deliver ballots for people.

I’m in Oregon and telling everyone to deliver in person, no mail. I just don’t know if we’ll get our ballots at all now though :(

you still have to rely on the mail to get the ballot if your talking about dropping off a mail in ballot.

and theres plenty of shit they can do, like whats in the article, to make sure you never even see your ballot.

The conservatives are well known for being extremely adept at rat-fucking.

They always run government badly, but they suddenly kick into high-gear galaxy-brain when they are working at dreaming up rat-fucking schemes to destroy democracy.

A lot of it is just “flail wildly and hope nobody stops you”

Bush v Gore was won when a bunch of campaign flaks simply stormed an office on Miami-Dade and intimidated the staff into halting the recount.

Like, that wasn’t a good plan on it’s face. And it failed to win in state court. And it didn’t even halt recounts statewide. But it did get the case up to a stacked court, where a majority of Republican SC judges could simply annoint Bush the winner.

Similarly, Ohio in 2004 was decided thanks to a rigged recount process. But because the case dragged out into 2007… what was anyone going to do about it? Bush wasn’t going to stop being president halfway through his second term.

As often as not, these elections turn on what people can get away with. They aren’t decided by genius plots by brilliant strategists so much as shameless acts of political vandalism that go uncontested.

Thats what I keep wondering, theyre crying constantly about an election six years ago, how do we force them to accept the results?

I wonder if some R congresscritters would be relived to get voted out and go raise chickens somewhere.

Maybe if you can tempt a few of them into a sweet heart multi-million book deal for “saving democracy,” then they might flip. Mike Pence knows.

Yeah, they didn’t accept it in their heads last time. And donnie’s terrible bootlicks still, when being questioned by Congress, cannot even answer who won the 2020 election without utterly beclowning themselves. Their wives and their children and grandchildren should be ashamed to acknowledge them. It’s embarrassing for the country, too.

I mean this time around they may take active measures to not even seat the winners.

Why are you so concerned about a one party government? Just join the republican party, primary them, and earn your incremental change.

Can’t wait to see how its done the right way by the true professionals.

No. No its much more simple. This might be a back up, but the fix is already in.

He’s going to team up with Democrats like Jefferies and Schumers, they’ll demonize anyone trying to right this fucked ship of a country, ie, DSA or DSA adjacent, as “violent leftists”. Party leadership will self sabotage (which they’re already in the process of), they individually will be allowed to maintain control of the party that failed to retake power in the mid-terms. You’ll get a “better luck next time” just like you got in '16 and '24, and it will become criminal to be to the left of Pod Save America.

The fact that you’ve regularly gotten yourself banned for shit like this and have to rotate accounts so often should be feedback enough for you to understand, that you, are in-fact, a troll.

Sounds very simple to sabotage by slipping in “wrong ballots” in every place you expect to lose the vote.
