What is the problem with me knowing where the people whose paychecks my taxes fund are located when they’re on duty? I’d like to expand it to elected officials too, so I know where you are when I want to complain about something.
Possibly a long shot but there might be a problem as soon as it allows your stalker to find out you’ve been seeking protection.
If it’s after one’s secured such, what’s the issue? Make those piglets run for their money. 🤷🏼♂️
Problem that criminals would know that too and avoid them easily?
They are the criminals. ✊🏼
Level the playing field.
And then raze it.

Since ACAB, that’s not a security flaw, that’s a feature that makes you more secure.
Love to see that happen. Although this doesn’t actually seem like a big security flaw, the devices just broadcast a Bluetooth signal, so you pretty much have to be with an eyeshot anyway to get their “location”.
I hope someday in the future somebody makes an open source network that anybody can join and link up their security cameras to that uses LLMs to identify and actively update maps with government and pig locations. That way, citizens can make due effort to avoid the violent abusive cunts
I mean, this should be possible with mesh core devices and some elbow grease I think
I think a better solution would be to have an independent, non-for-profit that:
- is full of fair focused lawyers and free speech advocates
- that archives and distributes all of the police body camera footage
- handles all FOIA requests and court case evidence requirements
That would for sure be better, but that would require the government doing something reasonable and holding themselves accountable. So I don’t think that will ever happen, atleast in my lifetime
Security “feature “.
But executives in Victoria Police dismissed it as a non-issue after speaking with the manufacturer, Axon.
How are executives, seemingly of all places, so fucking stupid all the time? “I spoke to the person causing the problem and they told me it wasn’t a problem, so that’s OK then.”
Couldn’t they just, y’know, not have those devices on them in those situations? Why would they even need to take them home?
flaw?
