    I think a better solution would be to have an independent, non-for-profit that:

    • is full of fair focused lawyers and free speech advocates
    • that archives and distributes all of the police body camera footage
    • handles all FOIA requests and court case evidence requirements

      That would for sure be better, but that would require the government doing something reasonable and holding themselves accountable. So I don’t think that will ever happen, atleast in my lifetime
