Every story in the Bible is either a story that did happen or will happen. But there is one story that most believe is some sort of metaphor symbolizing God’s love for the church. Why? Because someone else said so? The book itself gives no indication that it’s meant to be treated as a metaphor. In fact when you really read into it it seems quite silly to think of it as metaphor. I’m talking about song of Solomon.

SOS 4:11 Your lips drop sweetness as the honeycomb, my bride; milk and honey are under your tongue. The fragrance of your garments is like the fragrance of Lebanon

you really think that this is how God would express his love for you? 🤨

Song of Solomon is a story meant to be taken literally. And if this was a story that already happened then we would know who these two individuals are and their significance to God. But we don’t, therefore it must be prophetic. And the only two people who have been prophesied to come who has not come yet are the two witnesses.

And there are two major clues within the story that indicate that this story could only occur in our time.

SOS 3:1-2 All night long on my bed I looked for the one my heart loves; I looked for him but did not find him. I will get up now and go about the city, through its streets and squares; I will search for the one my heart loves. So I looked for him but did not find him.

tell me how someone in ancient times would look for someone while not leaving their bed? In ancient times this is impossible and silly. But in our time in the age of social media and smartphones these verses make sense.

SOS 5:6 I opened to my beloved, but my beloved had turned and gone. My soul failed me when he spoke. I sought him, but found him not; I called him, but he gave no answer.

He nocked but by the time she answered he was already gone. Then he said something that saddened her. How is it that he’s able to speak to her while not being there? In ancient times not possible. But in our time with cell phones this is possible.

Song of Solomon is a story of the two witnesses meeting, falling in love, being separated for a time, then the world witnesses them reunite and marry.

If you read my former post you know that I claim that Cain is one of the two witnesses. As for who she is unfortunately the Bible doesn’t give as many clues for her as it did for Cain. But as I said in my former post my insights come from God. And based on what God told me I can say that this woman is Eve and the Virgin Mary. These two have played every role there is to play in each others lives. They’ve been twins, mother and son, father and daughter, in this life they’re best friends. And husband and wife.

You’re thinking linearly. Time is a circle. There is only one Creator and he created himself. He was not created by another creator.

one of them was a story created by man

    That’s your assumption.

why would you trust the words some guys wrote in an ancient novel?

I know God. I trust God.

but its not ok to apply that same rational to the unimaginably complex universe?

Then reality would be God since creation is a conscious action.

youre thinking linearly. time is a circle. There is only one universe and it created itself. it was not created by another universe.

      That’s your assumption.

if those tomes werent written down by men, you wouldnt believe in the religion you currently do.

I know God. I trust God.

this is just wishful thinking, which is a common, well studied human quality.

Then reality would be God since creation is a conscious action.

again, its ok for your god to ‘always have existed’, but nothing else? why do you get to pick and choose what has ‘always’ existed?

You seem to be confusing me with other Christians. Other Christians say everything needs a cause except God. I say God is self caused. Big difference. And again if reality is self caused then it is it’s own Creator which makes it a conscious God.

this is mostly just nonsensical. a cyclical system need not be conscious as we can determine from the millions of systems we can examine around us.

other than wishful thinking, do you have literally anything to back up your extraordinary claim of this ‘god’?

if it were not for words written by human beings, you wouldnt even be utilizing the word ‘christian’ whereas atheism is the default state of all regardless of any mans words.

i would proffer that your faith is not in god. its in the words of humans who died a millennia ago combined with your (our) incredibly fallible brain chemistry in the form of wishful/fearful thinking.

Yes it’s nonsensical to believe that creation need be created 😜.

if it were not for words written by human beings, you wouldnt even be utilizing the word ‘christian’

If it weren’t for God I wouldn’t be utilizing the word Christian. As I said I know God. You can ignorantly assume it’s wishful thinking. I don’t care. But I know him like I know anyone else. And there is nothing you can say to make me forget the fact that I know God. So stop wasting your time and go away.

this is just changing the subject avoiding the actual point.

if your creator needs no creator, then the universe needs no creator.

If it weren’t for God I wouldn’t be utilizing the word Christian.

this is just a lot of extra words to say you devoutly believe the words some guys wrote a thousand years ago, and edited massively since.

if humans didnt tell you to believe in a god, you wouldnt believe in a god.
