Unfortunately, pedophiles (“misopede”) of the bourgeoisie are well defended in France too. Brigitte Macron, Polanski, Depardieu, … It need big mobilization to trial to be made, and even more for the crime to be acknowledge. Their is still no trial for Epstein accomplices

Make sure you give democrat politicians your assurance that you will vote for them no matter what their policies are, giving them literally no reason to appeal to you at all

Part of the problem with the Democrats is their infighting. Even if a Democratic candidate appeals to you and you like his policies, most of the time it doesn’t mean his policies are going to get passed or even introduced to get voted on.

The one thing Republican party has is its members solidarity and consistently voting as a block the last 30 years.

The main difference between the two parties is one is run on feelings and no policy and the other runs on watered-down corporate policy passed along as the status quo.

Both parties produce poor quality legislation for the country that is deliberately flawed in slightly different ways.

Leftists aren’t liberals, it’s not “infighting” because, as much as you insist, we aren’t DNC vassals

Your comment makes no sense. When did I mention anything about leftists or liberals? What do you even mean about “we’re not assails of the DNC”. What does that have to do with the fact that Democrats have a hard time getting elected because of their shit policies and fighting on which policy is the right way to go forward.

America is about to flip control of both houses of Congress. What is France getting for setting its historic buildings on fire?

Passing houses of congress from one bourgeois party to another doesn’t actually give power to the people. We will see what comes of the French protests, but it’s far likelier to get larger scale change.

You’ll flip congress without my help, or you’ll get systemic change without my help? The former is literally out of my hands no matter how I vote, the latter requires organizing and deepening political consciousness among the working class, and while I individually am not so important in the grand scheme of things, it takes people willing to bring others towards a more correct viewpoint and strategy for change to occur.

The first next month, the second in the long term.

We didn’t riot our new crop of democratic socialists into office. We voted them in.

And yet the DSA, no matter how many get elected, will not be able to establish socialism without revolution. The DSA isn’t a revolutionary organization either, it’s dedicated to reformism. This is actually a big debate within the DSA, and because of its structure and lack of ideological cohesion (which it sacrifices in order to swell membership), it is unlikely that it will become revolutionary and therefore effective without a serious rupture.

That’s why it’s so important to study the science of revolution and social change, rather than simply going with whatever feels good at the time.

No? What I want is clear: the establishment of socialism, and an end to imperialism and settler-colonialism in Turtle Island. I know any socialist transition will be flawed and imperfect, but those are my 3 requirements, because they are the bare minimum needed to end the constant war, genocide, pilfering of the global south, and threat of climate change.

I don’t think I’m smarter than my fellow workers. I do know that I’ve read more Marxist theory, but the vast majority of theory that I’ve read has come after I entered the work force. It doesn’t take intelligence to study theory, it takes time and effort, which is something the working class is always short on. That’s why it’s the duty of those who either have the time or the dedication to study to try to bring up the rest of the working class who may not share the same time or dedication.

Reforms within capitalism cannot bring about socialism, nor can they end imperialism, nor can they end settler-colonialism. The capitalist state of the US is just that, a capitalist state, not a neutral state to be used by just anyone. The state is a product of the economic base of society, which is why revolutionary change is a base requirement to bring genuine change to the superstructure of society.

You’re fully capable of comprehending this, at a certain point it’s a deliberate choice to not hear out the Marxists on your part. You’re not stupid at all, nor do you need to read a bunch of theory to understand the basics.

There’s no anti-pedophile or anti-Israel party in the USA, unfortunately.

Our voting options are limited to exclusively pro-Israel Epstein billionaire buddies. Remember, Israel is USA’s 51st state, and has been since we created it after WWII.

Our government is 100% committed to maintaining this base of operations in the middle east. It’s not just another country, it’s our baby.

Regarding pedophilia, it sure would be nice to open those Epstein files, eh? Biden and Trump don’t agree on much, but for some mysterious reason they both agree that Epstein is their little secret.
