I thought it was something far worse like adding slop to the game, or stealing work.
I am mixed about Mike Z’s engine being used for the game, and hiring him as core dev or consultant. I know for sure if I had a budget like Paramount’s I would be doing much much more.

I would’ve thought they’d keep him as far under the radar as possible, but he’s certainly not hiding in the discord? He’s been pretty quiet for a long time now, I’m assuming because of all the various lawsuits. That said, those lawsuits started wrapping up recently, roughly around the time he surfaced again.
I’m not willing to overlook it despite putting a lot of hours into the beta and loving it, but I’m not holding it against anybody. Most people don’t even know, I think?
