just watched the benn jordan video. i was worried at the start because it’s about economics and it didn’t seem to want to be that critical of capitalism. but it communicates well and paces smoothly. i felt i learned a lot, but didnt have to work hard to do so. i liked the points about being fearful to vote, and about it being more valuable to take than to gain. i just wish the vid had wrapped up the ideas better. 90% through the runtime, we’re introduced to humanity’s deathbed regrets, rather than being told what Nixon retreating from the gold standard has to do with Toys R Us closing down. im sure the very economically literate followed the throughline, but i don’t count myself among that group. that aside, this was a well made video that im glad i watched. thanks for the rec!
