I’m not saying the people are not to blame, but the corrupt voting system (like gerrymandering, harder to vote for black neighborhoods), the major news sources being controlled by oligarch billionaires as well as social media, a poor education system, information isolation, a lot of religious influence and power, most people suffering from a wide range of problems and one person who claims he can end it all, only 2 options: far right or alt right, then I think most blame lies with the billionaires, the corrupt politicians and the flawed system kept in place by these greedy narcissists, and less with the people.
Also, press freedom in the US isn’t amazing. These statistics do not look great. Between Sierra Leone and Gambia. A score of 65.5 on a scale from 1 to 100.
