Whether it’s a binary option or not, is actually irrelevant to whether one thing is better than another. That’s simple logic. A can be better than B even if C is better than both A and C. But in this case, it is a binary option. Unfortunately that’s how the U.S. system works. Changing it would require a revolution, and I’m told Americans don’t have time for that or even to participate in significant demonstrations, except on the occasional weekend.

And that’s why it’s stupid to just block out people with other information. It means you are being willfully ignorant because you are too lazy to challenge your own preconceived ideas.
