I paid a bit more for a bike than I expected. Nothing compared to a Dutch person’s weekend bike from what I hear. I got it used but the parts are all high quality, I think.

My life changed to being much more bike centric and I’m really happy with the purchase. The frame is carbon and I carry it up and down 5 flights of stairs 2-3 times a week.

I think we are very much in agreement. I don’t read a lot of what goes on in Showerthoughts. I would rather let people sort out their differences. Several users reported the thread, meaning that they wanted a moderator to take action.

I observe two things about your comment.

1. You have an unpopular opinion of JK Rowling. I want to build a welcoming community so I want to support people with unpopular opinions, like yours.
2. The comment is written in a way that not only states your opinion but is aggressive towards the other users. In isolation this comment isn’t too bad but in the context of your other comments there is a trend of agression that stirs up more aggression.
