I know about the themes but most of them look dated as well. I know I’m complaining about free software but it should look better out of the box. I know some people love customising but it shouldn’t be a requirement.

How does it look like Windows 10? It looks like Windows 2000.

They barely even have ties. They only started trying to improve things just before it all kicked off.

I’m a Linux user but some of the people on here make me want to go back to Windows.

I like GNOME but I think there’s essential functionality missing from it. Fortunately the extensions fill the gap.

Plasma’s growing on my and I think it definitely works better on a laptop but I just wish it looked like a modern operating system. It feels like something from the 00s at best.

OneDrive works pretty well on Linux actually. Takes a few lines of config and there’s no GUI but it’ll sync a folder nicely and run as a service.

I bought this game when it first came out, I was so disappointed. They bragged about all the buildings and about how you were going to go in them and carry out assassinations. All the buildings were basically dungeons and the layouts were all the same, just a boring square of rooms which you wandered around until you found the enemy you’re supposed to kill for some reason.

Films used to be such a big deal, now I just watch a brand new one every night. Pre-internet is just end up watching the same films over and over just because I had a copy. Going to the cinema to watch a new one was exciting but now I don’t care.

Is everyone posting about Oblivion simply new to it? Seems weird to me that everyone’s so excited about it but it’s probably just because I played it to death the last time it came round.

I’m all for switching to FOSS alternatives but this is like complaining that video game companies charge you for playing games on your own computer. Maybe they’re just struggling financially.

Sounds like your partner is expecting you to read your mind, which can be an autistic thing. People with ADHD and autism tend to find each other.

On the other hand, you don’t need to be with someone if being with them is making you feel bad about yourself, it sounds like you’re just trying to cope. Not to say it’s anyone’s fault but if it’s not working it’s not working.

I was in Bucharest and I went into town for dinner with a friend before we were to leave the next day. It was about -2c out and I didn’t have a suitable jacket. We started drinking and my latest memory is about 8pm. I woke up the next morning at the hotel without about 40 missed calls from my wife. She said she’d called me at one point and I’d lost my friend and I was outside a club, so drunk that I couldn’t read the name of the place and had to spell it out. I hung up and when she called later a Romanian picked up and she couldn’t understand them, that was around 3am. She googled the name of the club and it was 2 miles outside of town. We still don’t know how we got home.

I think the seller themselves write the review. They basically create a fake account with someone’s details in order to generate a legitimate sale so they can leave a review. They sacrifice some of their products to get the reviews up.
