it actually does hint that perhaps the path to overthrowing Trumpism is to radicalize the upper class against his agendas and force direct action. it’s not so far fetched. for instance, Patriotic Millionaires. <- links to a short article about their plan to reduce inequality by taxing wealth
the rich are not a monolith. they each have their own special interests. there are many outside Trump’s inner circle who depends on certain aspects of the economy being stable and profitable. maybe some of those angry multi-millionaites will switch loyalties now they see how bad Elonazi is for their bottom line?

Hitler had Goebbels. one guy. with the rise of for profit, 24/7, ubiquitous social media, there’s now 10,000 Goebbels with their own podcast or content channel.
and because these apologists and sane-washers get paid by tech companies (in advertising/ clicks) they have incentives to keep churning it out without any direct orders from a central authority - “Smash that subscribe button!, we got weekly hot takes on what glorious leader actually meant when he said ‘death to my enemies!’”

agreed. it’s appropriate sometimes, especially when humor and mockery is being used to generate a sentiment/vibe. no one believes this meme image is meant to establish an orderly basis of factual reality based consensus about Trump. it’s a joke.
besides, there is no amount of “high roading” with facts and logic that will reverse millions of hours of targeted brainwashing that caused a third of the population to vote against their own interests. we need to use multiple tactics, and appeals to humor/vibes/insults is one way we can make those backwards voters feel differently.
end of the day, subtle manipulation of images to create a vibe WORKS on people and shifts perceptions. the left should weaponize it to achieve goals, imo.

The windshield phenomenon (or windscreen phenomenon) is the observation that fewer dead insects accumulate on the windshields and front bumpers of people’s cars since the early 2000s. It has been attributed to a global decrease of insect populations caused by human activity, e.g. use of pesticides.

pickup trucks used to mean something to working class people, but these Deploreans are a gleaming manifestation of petulant man baby individualism born of conspicuous consumption and ostentatious self aggrandizement.
it’s the antithesis of what generations of working people associate with a “truck”.

they probably mean “culturally progressive”, as in, woke leaning. bombs with rainbows painted on them.
the US was only very briefly controlled by a progressive govt and it took a great depression and threats of mob violence against the ruling class to get that much.
