Regarding the OP, I actually rather enjoy when me being visibly gender non-conforming has this effect on people.

I meant being GNC having the effect of attracting trans/queer people in non-queer spaces. I don’t usually care enough about people’s perception to intentionally mess with it, however I guess it also helps me spot the people I want to avoid early on.
Also I’d love to pick your (or anyone’s with relevant experience) brain about the possible differences. However I’m pretty sure that’s not discussion for public forum. The chance of me asking a demeaning question or phrasing something really badly would be fairly high.
