The Graduate.

The Graduate.

Very uncommon in the US at least.

Oof sorry. Gonna need a protractor.

TFS’s Hellsing Ultimate Abridged also worth a watch.
Check out FF14. Great free trial option. Community is overwhelmingly good (though none is perfect). PvE is pretty damn good, especially once you get to late/end game. PvP is not the best (IMO) but it is very active if you do like it. Has a couple different modes including a 5v5 push the objective mode and a 24v24v24 objective capture mode. No RvR.
Kinda boring/typical MMO at first, but really picks up. With the free trial can play the base game and first two expansions for free, plus get the jobs (classes) from those (most of the ones in the game) up to level 70. Including crafting/gathering jobs. Can easily spend 1000+ hours just on the free trial if you choose to maximize it, but the expansions and sub are worth it IMO. And unlike WOW you van access all those classes on one character and switch with the press of a few buttons.
And the next expansion is summer of next year, so you do have time to catch up if you decide you want to get into it.

Mozart. Dude would be social media famous in .2 seconds. He’d be annoying us all. He’d be covering all new songs same day after hearing it once. And I’m here for that chaos.

That’s understandable. If audiobooks still dont quite do it for you there are some absolutely fantastic history podcasts out there.
Hardcore History by Dan Carlin is great for deep diving into different topics. His Supernova in the East does an excellent job of explaining things about Imperial Japan and WW2 battles in the Pacific, and his King of Kings is an excellent dive into ancient Persia and the kind of “Hollywood-ization” of the ancient greeks.
Lions Led by Donkeys is a more laid back, but still really insightful military history podcast that not only covers older military examples of poor/crazy leadership at the top (the title being a reference to an observation made about the British by a German general in WWI), but also more modern conflicts spanning the globe too.
There are plenty of others over numerous topics, but i’d be remiss if I didn’t mention both The History of Rome and Revolutions by Mike Duncan. The latter probably being my favorite history podcast so far.

Well since nobody said my favorite yet ill toss out History.

I was not. Thats awesome. Thanks for sharing!

Most of the bad things to happen to elves and men (of which the events of LotR are kind of just a blip on the radar) are because a long time ago (even by elven standards) an asshole jewel-smith named Feänor got too obsessed with Galadriel’s hair because it looked like the light that came from two magical trees.
Edit: Feänor is Galadriel’s Half-Uncle.

Tolkien Lore Quick Fact:
Technically speaking Aragorn married his first cousin 65+ times removed.
WWI Quick Fact:
While thought of as a defensive struggle that lead to stalemates, generals at the time weren’t necessarily wrong to keep up the attack. Both sides were able to capture ground. Including enemy trenches. The issue was that neither side could bring reinforcements or supplies up to support those breakthroughs and keep the offensive going faster than the defenders could.

Tolkien Lore. And WWI.

“i want you to blow up…the ocean!”

Thanks for the breakdown!

Damn. I was hoping for Cock-Pain.

Is it Japanese i am think of that has an exclusionary “we” form? Almost as in “We(all of US but not YOU) were invited to the party.”

Funnily enough about Stellaris iirc they actually said in their last update this week that in 3.9 or whatever the next patch is they are “reworking some habitat functionality.” Not sure if it will make late game better or worse. 🤷♂️

As usual, Carlin said it best. “It’s called the American Dream because you gotta be asleep to believe it.”
Youd be surprised by the number of people i have talked to that dont pick up on that.
