2·3 days agoThere were two characters on Threes Company to become roommates after Chrissy left. Cindy was a mid season replacement in season 5, and then Terri started at the beginning of season 6. Cindy was a disaster, figuratively and literally. Terri was a more empowered role.

4·3 days agoYou may ask yourself, “What is that beautiful house?”
You may ask yourself, “Where does that highway go to?”
And you may ask yourself, “Am I right? Am I wrong?”
And you may say to yourself, “My God! What have I done?”

172·5 days agoIt’s like the article is saying there’s a correlation between this gene and a list of mental health disorders - anxiety or even psychosis - but the disorders are not necessarily correlated with the gene, they occur in people without the gene. I just read through the article once.
I’m a bit jaded, I don’t have a high opinion of a medicated society if that’s what its coming down to. Too dystopian, like Soma in Brave New World, or people being arrested for “criminal drug evasion” like in the movie THX 1138.

1·7 days agoIn Cultural Relativism the truth is relative. It’s not about moralizing right and wrong. That’s politics. The problem with current reality is it’s not sustainable. The dystopia is the failure, the contraction. We may not survive.

7·7 days agoThe “can’t rule out” fallacy, often referred to as the appeal to ignorance, occurs when someone argues that a lack of evidence against a claim is taken as evidence for its truth. This fallacy suggests that if something cannot be disproven, it must be true, which is a flawed way of reasoning.
