If you’re buying one with rope, buy one winded vertical and one with horizontal winding. Mine hates the horizontal ones, but then absolutely loves vertical windings.
Some of the stuff you can find on 4chan cant be found anywhere else
I see you haven’t spent enough time on the internet, run while you still can!

kernelle@lemmy.worldOPto Fediverse@lemmy.world•How I made a blog using Lemmy - a write-upEnglish10·7 days agoDon’t worry its a good question:
- Hosting just a single page is incredibly easy, hosting and maintaining a federated instance is not
- It’s just about as barebones as it gets, all the heavy lifting is done by and on the Lemmy instance
- Set and forget
- The content is interacted with by the federation, who are probably not even be aware of the blog

kernelle@lemmy.worldto transgender@lemmy.ml•Spain’s Socialists to ban trans women from female sports0·5 months agoIgnorant passerby here, and genuinely want to change my mind, but how exactly is it fair for a trans person to compete against a biologically female person?
If we go back to the original reason for this sexist devide, it stems from a fundamental biological difference between two genders. How we identify ourselves has little impact on these biological differences no?
Furthermore I was listening to a podcast recently and they were talking about how the greatest female tennisplayer to have ever lived is would be ranked 2 or 3 thousand in a unisex world ranking. Seeing a worldrecord being set by someone working within the confines of the female body is impressive, seeing that same record broken by someone without the same constraints just devalues the other persons achievement.

Bush's Daughter Barbara Breaks Silence on Election to Campaign for Kamala Harris2·6 months agoI hear you, in a system where votes are distributed equally and where a duopoly isn’t an eventuality, you’re absolutely supposed to vote for the party you allign most with. The current system does not permit this, causing a black and white world of politics. Not participating in this is your right, and with two regular candidates, we’d probably never have this conversation.
One party has the rationality to change its opinion and work on mutually beneficial solutions, and the other party polarises the population, advocates for violence and creates lies and deceptions at every corner.
kernelle@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•George W. Bush's Daughter Barbara Breaks Silence on Election to Campaign for Kamala Harris12·6 months agoPeople have been using your rethoric since Hillary v. Trump. It didn’t hold up then and it doesn’t hold up now, and the GOP won because of it. Gaining more 3rd party votes since decades, the DNC lost even with a majority vote.
The system is fucked, with that I agree, and there is one party trying to change it and one trying to abuse it.
kernelle@lemmy.worldto News@lemmy.world•George W. Bush's Daughter Barbara Breaks Silence on Election to Campaign for Kamala Harris33·6 months agoYour voting has no impact on who will run the country. When you eventually get off your high horse think about your two options, if you still don’t see the massive difference between the evil the GOP or the DNC prescribes, you might just be the problem.

Some email services like iCloud offer scrambled permanent emails to use on different services though, that’s pretty cool.
