Reagan really fucked some shit up, hey?
What the hell were they thinking putting Little in in this game? Terrible decision.
E: yep, just fucking hand them the game.
Schneider’s ‘excuse’ after the game was pretty poor too. “He’s been really good in high pressure situations.” Since when? The guy’s been pretty bad the last half of the season.
Santander never really got it back after returning from injury late in the season. I wonder if that funky dive in ALDS game 3 tweaked something.
In the screenshot, it looks more like the essential toggle is greyed out because it can’t be toggled, while the other two can be and would likely turn blue or something other than grey to indicate they’re on.
Perhaps too much festivities after the ALDS win? Those extra days off seemed to do anything but good.
I also never understood why it’s such a party for each one of clinching a playoff spot, clinching the league, winning each playoff series. Like, yeah I get it’s rare, but they haven’t actually won anything yet.
In my eyes, a team that wants to win is a team that doesn’t celebrate that way until the job is done.
Scherzer is a vet, a great one really, but he seemed shaky with command in the last bit of the season. Hopefully the time off fixed everything up and he’s as good as ever.
The USCSB’s videos on their investigations are quite interesting and well made.
Change that G to a T, add a zero, then we’re talking (e: about data hoarders).
The custom install path is a welcome change. I didn’t have a lot of space to put a complete windows install in /var when I’ve set up /home on a different partition (with most of my storage space). This lets me put that 32GB where I have the excess space.
Probably so tonight’s game doesn’t conflict with the other series’ games this afternoon.
Boost recently added piefed support. Works great.
No one could’ve ever seen this coming…
A statement win, but it wasn’t really that way until the 7th.
I think Vlad’s homer was exactly what they needed to shake the nerves though. I feel Vlad’s susceptible to getting down on himself and that was exactly what he needed to start this post season.
Now in game 2 the bats are hot and the pitching ice cold. I’m excited for this run!
I remember a time where I really hesitated to help someone, and I realized that feeling of the 80%. “It’s not my problem. They’ll be fine. Someone else will help. I have things to do.” But what happens when we all think that?
It wasn’t emergent, an elderly man had fallen and gotten a bit tangled up in a shopping cart. No injuries and just needed some time to catch his breath. That feeling while walking away, knowing you helped someone though…it’s pretty special.
There were similar findings in Regina about 8 years ago. About $18,000 spent housing someone with about $73,800 saved on average between hospital, ER, detox, and policing (2017 dollars). Here’s another article on it from 2018.
The difference that a stable, safe, and secure place to live makes is quite obvious, it’s sad this can’t get more support everywhere.
I really hope this becomes the actual end of fossil fuels for common things, because we’ve demonstrated we are otherwise powerless against the oil barons, even when the end of the world is nigh.
I don’t really expect anything to be mainstream for a couple decades, but that’s better than never.
Lowest bid procurement has to stop.
But how will that serve the Irvine Empire!?
