That’s on you, pal. I don’t feel entitled to anything but the same basic respect I give anyone, man, woman, or otherwise. All I want is not to be looked at as an existential threat just for existing and I really don’t think that’s unreasonable.

You’re sick in the head if you think being depressed over being labelled an existential threat makes me dangerous.

The issue isn’t with you, it’s with common experiences women have had with men.

And that’s exactly the problem. I’m not those men. I have no intention of acting like those men. Yet I’m still scared that I’m going to get pepper sprayed anyway just for asking a woman for directions.

I am listening, and what I’m hearing is that I, as an innocent person, am a source of terror for someone I’ve never met because of a fact of my biology that I have no control over. I have no ability to change the feelings of someone else, because no matter what, those feelings are only able to be changed by the person feeling them. I can say I’m innocent and not a threat until I’m blue in the face, I can act as non-threatening as I possibly can, I can leave women alone in public. None of that matters because I’m not the one with the power over those feelings.

There are a lot of phrases from reddit that annoy me due to overuse. “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes” and “fuck around and find out” both annoy the absolute piss right out of me now.

Not to mention, it’s a standard now, and the old Supercharger protocol is being phased out in favor of another standardized one (I forget which). Further development done on their chargers from here on out is going to be done by a consortium of companies rather than in-house anyway.

I’m fairly confident that it’s a change in Flatpak itself rather than any one specific Flatpak, since all of my apps now use the same new screen sharing interface. Difference is that it actually works in those apps.

Screen sharing with Discord no longer works, but I think that’s from an update to Flatpak because it was also happening at the end of 39’s lifecycle.

That’s reasonable. I pulled that info from Wikipedia, and I don’t speak Japanese, so I just was going off that.

That’s great and all, but for those of us that do speak English and are expecting certain grammatical norms, eschewing those norms, regardless of the validity of the reason, makes it significantly harder for us to parse.

The question mark is not a rare piece of punctuation, either. It’s used in China. It’s used in Japan. It’s used in Vietnamese, every Romance language I’ve ever encountered, and every Germanic language I’ve ever encountered. I’m not saying I understand all those languages, but I can certainly recognize when someone’s asking a question in one because the question mark remains the same.

This is a piss-poor excuse and reeks of the attitude of one who’s never encountered a language that doesn’t use the Latin Alphabet even in passing. Oh yeah, by the way, it’s called the Latin Alphabet, not the English Alphabet.

Yeah, that’s what I’m referring to. I’ve never successfully turned on hardware acceleration when running Windows guests, and I don’t think Gnome Boxes even exposes the option.

It’s got really good hardware graphics acceleration.

It was probably shitty coke, but there was at least one time where my buddy said “yo this is some good stuff” and it still didn’t do it for me. Who knows if it actually was good stuff, though.

Basically, it was in front of me, and I’ve got an unfortunate amount of experience kicking stimulant habits (I was an Adderall kid), so I figured I wasn’t at any particular risk of getting addicted. I tried it a few more times after that and came to the same conclusion, so at this point I don’t think I’ve touched the stuff in over a year.

Also I was drunk every time someone offered it to me.
