My guess would be the middleman who got the contract to put the sticker on the apple and resell it.
It’s not $5. There’s a tap in all our pockets, pipelessly connected to the Heidelberg Tun of free wine that comes in all colours, types, and flavors.
…but not that rare vintage from the Chateau you visited on your honeymoon. That one costs extra…
Connoisseurs obviously.
Who drinks $50 wine when they could just get $5 wine?

90·3 days agoThese people are already legal permanent residents and have lived here for years. Many may not have homes to go back to. This is in no way a “blessing”.

12·5 days agoI think soy is a legume; typically not considered a grain; but OP included lentils which fall in the same category so I say go for it.

World News@lemmy.world•Thailand launches airstrikes on Cambodia as Trump’s peace agreement hangs in balanceEnglish
14·6 days agoThat seems like an awfully biased headline for what they’re reporting as essentially “he said she said”.
A Thai military official said that the airstrikes were retaliation for an attack earlier on Monday that killed a Thai soldier.
Cambodia’s Ministry of National Defense denied the RTAF allegations, calling it “false information” in a statement on X.
I’m admittedly biased here but one of these statements feels awfully familiar
your little slutty bowl of Apple Jacks was asking for it.
Why? Do you, like, know of a club or something?
~dm me the contact info~Sorry - Our club is for consensual cereal love only.
I find it interesting that you feel “cerealphile” has negative connotations. Where do those feelings originate?
Follow up Q: Were they wild oats?
When did you realize you were a cerealphile?

I’m absolutely in love with the Beverage Center. I use the heck out of the pitcher.
We got a French door version with the drawer freezer. I’m a bit skeptical of the 4 door. Seems like the freezer would be awkward to access and organize but I’d be interested to hear how it goes in practice.
