I knew I was different™ since being 10 years old. Invited the whole class to my birthday and it was a fucking no show. No one person!

Had issues to get the social behavior performances before but that’s when I realized.

But the term “neurodivergence” didn’t cross me 'til Covid hitted. In my family only my brother got an ASD diagnostic since back then it’s been only diagnosed for “boys with hyperfixations”. My sister got hers last year being close to 40 y.o. Same for me.

But I’ve known forever. It’s just relieving now to know “it’s just me processing life different” as a neurodivergent person instead of me being weird or akward or not fit for life

I use Posteo and Tuta and I’m pretty sure - but not 100% - that my (german) government will attack homeless, disabled and trans people live on tv before actually starting to invade things like emails publicly.

Tuta has been under some fire for the encryption if I remember correctly but they couldn’t hand out any data so things were left where they are. That’s a plus imho

seems like you don’t know how invasive the questions asked by medical stuff can be. sure this is something with extra questions involved. these questions are not my point.

(just for example I have been asked unprompted - and in details - about my sexual activity by a diabetic doctor. things like that happen a lot. it’s exhausting to be trans in the medical system.)

I don’t know if I can fit this into “good news” since as a german I had to follow all the story unfolding around the whale.

The good part is, that he might be able to finally die in peace. There has been such a whirlwind of extra stress for the poor whale because ✨️humans✨️.

The whole scenario has been captured by political, conspiracist “Gutmenschen” (people pretending to be good but only want attention) so that an actual japanese whale expert left the scene fuming. I guess the poor whale is free now, at least I hope so.

Ps. It has been named “Timmy” by the authorities in the beginning, but esoteric Conspiracist decided to rather call him “Hope” - if you see a video on social media you can define by the name in use, if the video is conspiracy propaganda or not

Since I’m a 40 years old german native I can tell you: never heard that word in action. But you can verify by checking “Der Duden” - that’s the main german dictionary. They are even adding teenager slang every year so maybe there is an actual used word for it that I don’t know due to my age 😆

I don’t think there is a really good word for it in german sadly. I’ll go with amusenhaunten now and will spread the word (see what I did here hehe) so check the german Lexikon in a couple years
