I’m not familiar with the Code keyboard but looking at it it’s a compact 100% with some preprogrammed macros and layout options?
Take a look at the qwertykeys Neo line. I have a few friends who’ve built Neo boards at my recommendation and they’ve all loved them.
Almost every custom board these days runs QMK firmware which supports full remapping, layering, macros, etc., so you can adjust things to exactly how you like. Any QMK board can also be flashed to support VIA/Vial which gives you a nice UI for customizing layouts.
I’m also partial to electrocapacitive boards like the HHKB but they can’t be remapped without a replacement PCB and the typing experience is a bit of acquired taste.

Hi Miisha, it’s clear that you’re hurting now and have been hurting for a long time, and I can’t pretend to know how you feel, but I’d like you to know that you and all the other girls here are inspiring to baby trans me.
It sucks to be given a body you don’t want. And it’s easy to get stuck in that spiral of wishing things had gone differently. But dwelling on things that can’t be changed does nothing but waste energy.
And saying “fuck you” to the universe and living as the person you want to be despite it all? That’s just about the coolest thing someone can do. And you’re doing it! That’s fucking awesome and it makes me feel like I can do it.
