If I tip I generally do it based on the work/effort rather than the price.

Wearing deodorant has nothing to do with bathing regularly.
You can bath regularly and not need deodorant, every body is different. Also depends on the activities done between each bath/shower.
Now some people do not bath regularly and use deodorant or perfume, that never ends up well in terms of odor.
I can’t remember well. But: price in the X was good enough for me like 100€ maybe a bit less.
And secondly. The detachable microphone that can be located close to the mouth. That was a deal breaker for me because I use the headset to work (Microsoft teams) and play with friends (Warzone). And I like my voice to be as clear as possible. Especially if I have the windows open and some background noise.
So in short. I prefer unidirectional microphones that point to your mouth and if they are closer (so the gain doesn’t need to be high), better.
I use the “barracuda X” it’s black no RGB. It has both Bluetooth and low latency wireless.
I use it mainly in Windows (work/gaming) and PS5 (gaming).
In Linux I used it for gaming too. The only difference is that sometimes the gain in the drivers is very high. But I think it could be my problem (for messing with the drivers in the past months) maybe I need a clean install.
If everything goes well (I’m being optimistic)…living on an island and with 2 kids (1 already incoming).
And hopefully not travelling much for work. Ideally no more than 2 or 3 times per year.
I see this as part of the experience one has.
My rule is to not take anything that has information from the client.
For example I generally just create a txt file with a few example of “how to do this or that”. Generic stuff. So next time it takes me much less time to do the same thing.
For me. 100% remote.
But I work more for objectives rather than gross time/days. If the project is falling behind I work extra to gain some safeguard. If the project is going well I work more relaxed.
I don’t mind working extra hours if I’m already saving a lot of time avoiding travelling to the client or going to the office, living in another place away from a city. Etc.
In Spain it is also yearly. In general the annual salary is divided in 14 payments, unless you ask to have it divided by 12, depends on the employer, so it makes sense.
The income tax is also annual based. So depending how much you earned during the fiscal year you have a different tax rate. (And part of the income tax rate is dependent on the “state” but they are all more or less similar).
2 TB nvme for windows + apps + steam/games + cloud drive (google drive) + user data
1 TB SSD for personal offline data / photos / torrent.
In my experience the one in Spain is less sweet than the one in the USA. Same in France.
I recently travelled to France and the fridge was so cold it had frozen half of the coke. Then I tasted it and it felt like the USA version. But then I realized it was because most of the water was still frozen while the rest of the Coke was already getting unfrozen and felt more concentrated/sweet. For a day I thought the Coke in France was also sweeter.
Coke in Argentina and the USA (and probably many other countries) taste more sweet than the Coke in Europe/Spain.
Here in Spain regular Coke doesn’t taste that sweet so I end up getting the Zero Coke because it has no calories.
Same with Sprite and much more stuff. For example the Froot loops here they sell some version that has different colours and they are barely sweet compared to the US version.
For me it’s not a deal breaker. But in terms of standby it’s number 1. (Because I deleted everything else).
If I open BBS I get a mess of partial wakelocks: https://imgur.com/a/KzMQhR9
And WhatsApp, mother of the Standby Battery Drains. Bearer of the Wakelocks. Enemy of Deep Sleep.
In Barcelona there are a lot of many small cafes, bars, restaurants (located generally in zones where the terrain is very expensive) that got purchased by Chinese families.
Generally these were frequented for coffee, drink + tapas, lunch meal. But after the ownership change they end up frequented mainly for the same stuff but not for the food because it’s generally not good.
To me these are front for something else. They always become much worse for eating. Never better. Like there is no intention of improving it. But they still do it smartly because they keep some customers just for the beer and coffee mainly after work.
I use Proton (Linux) for games where my hardware is overkill or my FPS is good enough.
But in games where the hardware is maxed and the FPS is below my preference. I use windows because there is still sometimes like a 10%-20% loss by running windows stuff from Linux.
In Steam Deck could be different because it’s more optimised maybe. There are exceptions that run better on Linux I understand (example: same FPS but less stuttering).
I was thinking about people with basic software knowledge and 0 hardware knowledge. That also never used Linux. This is why I excluded Linux. I consider Linux a bit more advanced.
Me neither. But it makes sense. In some countries there are a lot of OS X users.
Just like there are a lot of iPhone users. Generally they are users that get a Mac the same way they get an iPhone. It’s from Apple. It looks like premium hardware. And it seems simpler to use than the alternative (Windows).
They don’t get the Mac for gaming. They don’t care about the GPU at all. But considering there are many users if just a few of them decide to try the MacBook to play some light game they can put a good number in the steam survey.
What if they are already in and now they can’t escape!
More or less in the middle.
Every time I get it (like once every 2-3 years) for me it’s never with diarrhea.
Just agonizing with a lot of vomits, fever, congestion, coughing, muscle pain etc.
