The provisional count of all US deaths involving COVID-19 was 48,615 compared to over 200,000 during the same time period in 2022. Of those 98.4% of the deaths were elderly Americans. The pandemic is long over.

The world is better than it ever has been since the 1970s. You are too young to know what it was like during the Cold War. We are not even under daily nuclear threats like was used to be. There isn’t a wall across Europe with two Superpowers pointing weapons at each other. Life is really good right now compared to the past.

Eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich by a window when I was 2 years old. I have a few memories from when I was two.

Dionysus, God of sex and alcohol!

He has openly stated he wants to be a dictator, to dissolve Congress, and to rule for life. That type of tyrant is going to be on the minds of people.

Alt+F4 automatically closes any programs wasting your time.

Parents or older siblings that are too lazy to take off the magnets when their child isn’t driving. Very common in Colorado.

What app are you using? Did you check using a browser instead?

1989 would be better. 2000s were pretty terrible.

No, because the world isn’t falling apart, you are just becoming more aware of the world.

Maybe I’m rare but I made a bucket list in high school of things to do as an adult. Some lame but some cool.

Oh, I didn’t make my bed and the world didn’t explode. Seriously, does anyone clean their house to the extreme your parents did? We only do if someone is coming over.

I make okay money in my forties, was able to put a large some down on a reasonable new car to keep monthly payments low. Also my back hurts if I sit too long. So, yes.

Yes and I have thousands of links I have built up over the last 20 years.

One kid costs about $10K a year, mostly daycare or after school care. Usually a couple can afford that and still be okay. The return on investment is pretty big since the kid provides you with lots of opportunities being a childless couple does not. Now having four, that’s a ticket to broke town.

We stopped after one kid. Saved a lot of money. Friends all have 3-4 and are always broke. We have plenty of capital to enjoy life, vacation, and live a modest life.
