I’m converting coffee haters and milk drinkers with a v60 at home. Everyone likes their coffee without milk suddenly when they taste actually good coffee. Such a joy!

3·3 months agoIt might help to get a longer mouse so you hand can rest comfortably on it. The soreness probably is not the clicking but the moving-while-tense. I bring my own to work to prevent this.

4·2 years agoWhat you’re describing feels like the Dunning–Kruger effect. When you don’t know you know very little, you have more confidence than you’re likely to have after spending decades on a subject.
When you start asking questions in response you’re likely to pull someone further into realizing what they actually don’t know, killing their confidence. Of course this doesn’t work when they’re being zealots (or otherwise protecting their own sanity)…
