Still won’t happen though. Short-term calamities like another pandemic can tho. I was prepared for the last one, too. I didn’t lose a wink of sleep or change my routine at all during covid. I’m not fan of Trump, and I was too busy to get on that hype train. But if I would have jumped on, I would have bought a bunch in the morning. Then sold that night. Use the profit to buy bitcoin. I was actually planning to do that, but I was in vegas with my gf, and I had gambler fatigue. Tho I profited in Vegas too. I left about $3K ahead. So it was a good time.

I’m biased of course since bitcoin helped me retire early, but I don’t think it’s so much a “scam” as it is another form of gambling. Only buy as much as you can afford to lose if it all goes belly up.

But Bitcoin isn’t really anymore of a scam than the stock market these days. Both are gambling. Both involve people richer than us. Both involve computers/ai. And both an help ya out if you are cautious, wise, and watch the market closely.
