Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Remote or hybrid workers, would you rather work a 4 day week on site, or WFH completely for 5 days a week, for the same pay?
4·2 years agoSame. I have an interview with a cool sounding company tomorrow!

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•When did you realize you weren't quite like everybody else?
8·2 years agoADHD here, but based on autistic friends, I strongly suspect that for me as well. The said not meant one is a big bother for my wife and I. I just CANNOT read into the secret hidden meaning hidden between the words. Just say what you want. I’m happy to help or whatever, but I don’t do hints.

Mechanical Keyboards@lemmy.ml•Preferred choice for storage
4·2 years agoIf you’re in the US pop over to Michael’s. They’ve got containers kinda like that second link. Tons of varieties. I’ve got a good handful of them I use for storing and organizing my caps. They’re cheap, Michael’s always has good sales on things, and they do the trick.
Also they are the bomb for organizing earrings. So, there’s my thoughts.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you think human civilization will look like in 10 years?
11·2 years agoI think you’re pretty close. I think it is aliens (of some kind) but if not, it also means that either my government is lying to me (par for the course) or there’s some real crazy people high up that need to go.
So, even if it’s not something beyond our current belief about life or there’s some real fuckery that needs to be dealt with swiftly.
Based on the UAP Disclosure Act, I’m feeling pretty confident it is aliens of some kind. But at the very least, it sure looks like we’re gonna get a lot more than “yes, there are things in the sky our government cannot identify”.
Either way, the last few months have been a wild ride and ive enjoyed every moment of it. But, if it’s fuckery, my congresspeople and senator are gonna be hearing a lot more from me than they already have. Personally, I’m done with being lied to about shit like Iraq and funding the war machine and it’s time to focus on the real issues at hand. I just think one of those is gonna be ayylmaos.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you think human civilization will look like in 10 years?
11·2 years agoYep. Grusch coming out was the moment I started thinking “hmmm” then Schumer’s amendment to the NDAA was a “Wait, you’re being serious…” moment. So, I’m pretty convinced now. Totally cool with being wrong, but I’m getting real close to falling off the fence until proven otherwise.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What do you think human civilization will look like in 10 years?
54·2 years agoBasically the same except we’re gonna generally agree that aliens are real and not just somewhere in the abyss of space. Feel free to disagree, but that’s where I’m at after the last few months - most specifically with Schumer’s UAP Disclosure Act. Won’t be mad if I’m wrong, but it sure as hell feels like it’s coming and quick.

2·2 years agoOh man, a few months ago my kid found an old boombox in the garage. It was awesome showing him “ok, here’s the knob and how you change stations” and explaining why he couldn’t just pick the song he wanted lol.

1·2 years agoMy wife gave me a bunch with a charger for Christmas like 2 years back. They’re all still in rotation for controllers around the house!

You been to the St Louis zoo yet? It’s not quite San Diego but it’s damn good - and free! (Paid parking tho)
