The comic is not “AI generated”. One of my friends reached out to the VFX supervisor for the show on Mastodon and they said the art department drew and colored it.
I think it’s also important for us to fact check things before assuming. I know “AI generated content” is being used a lot but there are designers and artists that are very much against its use.

I loved this episode a lot. Paul Giamatti & Holly Hunter really played off of each other very well. Seeing the Vulcan B’avi (I think that’s the name it said in the show) die and also mention Spock’s famous quote was heartbreaking but well done.

Nemesis did have a cool space battle and I agree with you there! I was just so disappointed with characters not acting like how they normally are like though.

Same here! It’s interesting and well done so far and honestly has a charm to it.
I mean personally the only 2 Star Trek stuff I’ve not liked at all is Section 31 & Star Trek Nemesis.
I haven’t seen all of Trek. I’m basically catching up on it still.
For context I’ve seen The Next Generation (and all the TNG movies), Deep Space Nine, Discovery, Picard, Strange New Worlds.
Currently watching TOS and I’m on the last season for that.

Episode was funny and I loved it!

I’m reading Network Effect by Martha Wells. It’s the fifth book in The Murderbot Diaries series. I love it so far and 30% done with the book currently.

I started reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. I wanted to read the book before the adaptation comes out.
Other than that I’ve also been reading The Murderbot Diaries. (Read 4 of the 7 books published so far).

I haven’t played 99% of the games listed here. Pokémon Shining Pearl has been the only one I played.
I don’t support any of the other companies either and I’m well aware they donate to fascists.
The reason I brought up the HP game is because the author directly has been doing a lot of harm to trans people. This doesn’t condone what these other companies are doing but I find that many people tend to look the other way with the HP franchise as a whole.

It’s awful seeing a game based on a bigots work being bestselling.
It just feels like a reminder that so many people don’t care about trans people at all because of “nostalgia” and not caring that Rowling benefits and hurts us.
sighs I’m sorry for that rant just sad/disappointed/angry to see this.
It’s only from what I heard from others and online articles. I haven’t read the books personally but that’s why I avoided them.
I didn’t read that series (referring to Ready Player One) since there was transphobic stuff the author put in the book.
But in terms of fun reading I would recommend the Monk & Robot series by Becky Chambers. It’s wholesome and heartwarming. It’s two sci-fi novellas.
I always need subtitles when I watch anything
Not happy about the cat in terf outfit 😔

That’s a really good point and I had forgotten about the updates being behind. Thank you for bringing that up!

There’s a lot of good suggestions here and I wanted to add pop os! it’s a beginner friendly Linux distribution but with more of a focus on gaming.
I’m a fairly new user to Linux and I first got a laptop with Pop OS since I read that it was a beginner friendly distro and great for gaming. Although I didn’t use it for gaming it was great to get to learn how to use Linux and use it for everyday purposes.
Later with lots of trial and error got Fedora Linux working on an old laptop with bad battery life that was lying around. I wanted to try my hand at a bit more of an advanced distro. So far I’m loving both distributions and learning more each day about how things work.
Really needed to hear this today. Thank you!
Thank you so much for all that you do! It really means a lot!
