All of this is just coping really hard bro. Look behind any of what you said here and it’s all the shadow of the greed of capitalism. You’re not going to convince me the libs are bad. I know. I also know the cons love unfettered capitalism and use immigration as a smokescreen to hide the real problem: capitalism is failing.
Putting the blame on people coming to Canada to escape war and poverty is disgusting. Be better.
You don’t like capitalism making homes unaffordable and having no money? Change capitalism, don’t blame people in need.

I highly doubt the liberals would have done any of that if not for the NDP. They didn’t implement any of it with “help” from the NDP, and only did it after the threat of toppling their government. Not exactly gonna clap for them when they weren’t going to do it in the first place.

The biggest dupe the cons have pulled off is making you think immigrants are the issue, not the boss who won’t increase wages, or the landlord that continues avaricious levels of rent.
Refugees and immigrants are not your enemy. The wealth hoarding class is your enemy.
Do you think an effective government only focuses on a single problem? Or would an effective government govern properly by taking into account multiple issues? Perhaps even issues that impact a half of our countries population?

This is terrifying. How could Canada continue to maintain sovereignty in a situation where the US is threatening its independence, much less the US and Russia?

Not from England, and no longer young. But that picture of sitting at the top of those stairs is so rough. A feeling that sorta just stays with you forever.

Shocking. Who coulda guessed?

I received a $400 cheque from the Alberta government one time. Feels good to be government funded!

Just regular normal things ig

That’s very interesting, thanks. The whole tone of the second article seems so much different than how we talk about our “democracy” in Canada, where I am from. We talk about it here as a form of prestige (“Canada is so good, we’re democratic, unlike those Asian countries”), where that article made it sound like they were celebrating how it helps the people. At least that’s my vibe.
Now that I think of it, I have no idea how their governance works. We’re just sorta guided to think the communist party gets together for dinner and decides what everyone has to make for lunch on Thursdays lol. Probably interesting to look into!

China is also leading the renewable push, and has made massive innovations in participatory democracy.
Anywhere I can read about this?
I dunno. Epstein was pretty high profile (and it might not have worked out great for him, either), but a former president is really high profile. I have no idea how they would handle it, but if we’re lucky enough to see it, it’ll be quite interesting for sure
Ah that’s probably true. He’s rich and white enough to end up in a resort prison, I’m sure.
I get what you’re saying, but I think without that protection it’s pretty likely he’d be killed in prison.

Stop knocking my water glass off my nightstand!!

Maybe you were just being an ass?
The state has no right to tell me what I can or can’t wear.
