Damn broski I may be able to toss you $10 later this week. I only considered it because I recognize your name and you’re pretty active on Lemmy so (flex muscles emoticon)

It’s never a war crime the first time!
Sounds like there’s a market for “Comfy Steel-toed Boots For Ass Kicking Old Ladies”. Let me find that 100k I put under my mattress…
I only did Castle because, it I’m not mistaken, it was the only animated one. If I recall correctly the bats wings flapped.
Clearly we should be asking: “Is X gonna give us his stance on the current political climate?”
To which we should wait for: “X gon’ give it to ya.”
I love Peace Walker on the PSP, and since it’s a direct tie to MGS 5 and is fully done I’d say it’s a no-brainer. May even be easier than the MGS 3 to Delta transition.
I have a 4 year old laptop with a “gaming” card in it. Generally speaking if a game is Steam Deck verified it will run it no problem. I like using that as a benchmark.
Don’t forget the dicks out for Harambe episode, I’m surprised that one aired.
I saw them live 7-8 years ago in Dallas, awesome show! Went to the bar run by the same concert venue afterwards, they were in there hanging out! I got to take photo with them and everything, loved it!
More like:
“I gotta pound this 800 before my shift starts!”
Her decision was a one of life and death, not only for her, but for everyone else who was safe inside. She didn’t even have to face the consequences of her decision because she died almost immediately!
What was her sacrifice worth? What was the purpose of her character except a plot point to move the film into the action packed 3rd act? My argument was the film is far from perfect, with that character as one of my reasons.
Grace was safe inside, away from the vampires, until SHE invited them in. If she was concerned for her daughter she would want to stay alive, not doom everyone to death because she had nothing to live for (possibly).
My main point is this: the movie is not perfect, flawless , and certainly has some pacing issues. Despite that it is still a good movie! No debate there! But I wouldn’t say it’s a masterpiece.
The Asian woman may have said she wanted to fight, but she was well aware of the fact that their “invite” rule was the only thing keeping them out. Why doom everyone to die because of your rage? It was shortsighted and selfish.
Note that I did not mention any of your other thoughts on slavery and appropriation, I had no problems with those parts. I didn’t say there wasn’t a deeper message. I did say the whole movie does not hold up, and there are a few weak scenes that don’t match up, making this a somewhat flawed film, not flawless.
I’d say the Asian woman being so upset about her husband and inviting them in just to die 5 seconds later for little or no reason was one of the weak moments. There were several times during the Stack and main vampire fight where the main vampire totally had the upper hand yet balked for no reason.
Also suddenly, when a main character has a gun, guns are effective against vampires. To be clear: I enjoyed the movie a lot, and would watch it again no problem. But to say there were no weak parts is a stretch.
25% of what?
I have a ton of old ones (mid-2000s) I used to post on Antique Memes Roadshow, but the mod there doesn’t seem to understand that ‘Cock goes where?’ memes were the low bar at the time.
I even attempted to add a disclaimer that the memes were from a time when being PC all the time, especially online, was not even considered. None of them were NSFW or offensive to any particular group, but I’d be happy to share.
It’s shaman graders all the way down…
Make sure you try to get both Toejam & Earl games, although diehards will swear the 1st one is better than the 2nd one. I also recommend the Batman & Robin side scrolling beat em up, not only was it fun but it had a banger soundtrack.
I’m not certain if you got the version compatible with the Sega CD but if you can locate one there were several ports of Genesis games to it. Eternal Champions was better on it because it had actual CGI and better animations, the Batman game was baller and, of course, there was Sonic CD as well.
