Self-replicating Christmas trees!!!
Xbox is dead outside of being a different logo for windows. I think it’s obvious to anybody remotely watching the industry that all they really care about is game pass at this point. Even at the game awards, they were essentially absent outside of a game pass ad, and recently put a finance guy in charge of Zenimax.
I would love to say this won’t end well for them, but they probably crunched the numbers and determined they could continue the same revenue with minimum effort. Enough people will probably stick around on game pass, even after the recent hikes, to keep it as a solid revenue stream.
I sold my Xbox six months ago after it sat collecting dust for a year and a half, glad I did.

Thanks for sharing. I’ve been using my OLED as my primary display, and the last firmware nagging really got to me.
Since you’ve posted this, I did a factory reset wiping my network info and disabling every non-tv feature.
And here I thought LG was better than Samsung at this.

I think they’ve always been like this for some of their posts, and honestly I’m considering getting a paid subscription to support them. Sucks, but they’ve been putting out quality content in exchange for your email address and some metrics - I’d call it a fair trade.

Sure, but other studios, outside of Rockstar and Mojang, don’t release a game 14 times over 14 years.
When they do launch their game for the 14th time, it typically works.
I’ll give it to you that Bethesda gets a lot of hate over their aging engine and bugs at release, but this game has been released to death, it should either be bug free and over-optimized, or not released at all.
It’s actually kinda fun today, but today was too easy to guess.
My main issue is the word “retro” for this quiz - the creator’s use of the word (2000s and up) and my own (thinking like 2600-SNES) are in conflict.

You can literally just start Season 3 clean, it feels like a totally different show. The only thing you might need to know is who Raffi is, and a small scene with Picard talking about his body. IIRC, season 2 is only referenced once, and it’s a bit of a retcon. Enjoy.

I loved season 3, as the 10-hour long TNG send off movie. I’ll probably never rewatch the other two seasons. Even though the cast was fantastic (love me some Rios)- they were wasted.

I’m with you, they’re aliens, and they can (and have) been portrayed wonderfully by folks of all ethnicities. If anything they’re emulating Vikings in modern depictions, and if that’s the case… they’re pretty metal 🤘

He might be doing some digital now (I’m no longer subscribed and I see some free digital sketches in there), but I know when I subscribed the final work was painted on canvas.
His favorite one of mine is titled “Breath of Adventure”, and I’m fortunate he shared a 4k scan that looks amazing on my monitor.

Chicago is very much like this too. When not gridlocked, I don’t mind driving in cities since the drivers are very predictable and polite (although impatient of you don’t commit). If convenient I’d still rather take a bus or train and not worry about it though.

I’ve made the mistake of driving in manhattan once, and it taught me two things. How to maneuver within gridlocked traffic, and why you take the subway in NYC.

I spent $50 a year on wallpapers once as a monthly subscription. It was to support an independent artist that hand painted video game scenes I enjoyed, produced 1-3 new paintings per month, granted access to his back catalog, and the deliverable was high quality scans I could download and use at my leisure.
Since he is an artist, and you could feel that each painting took weeks to complete, I felt justified.
Never had a desire to pay for an app with generic wallpapers though, or to financially support someone who generates my annual salary per sponsorship deal.

Explorer tabs is a feature. One which should have been an update instead of an “upgrade”. That’s about it though.

Yep. I’m fortunate enough to be on the other side of the curve, but “it just breaks” when you first start tinkering. The average computer user who will never open the terminal will never run into this problem

Honestly, the Air Force involvement helped SG1 feel grounded in the best possible way. I take this as a positive sign for the series.

Unfortunately the fact remains that he received 3 million more votes in 2024 than 2020. It’s simple to political missteps and cry foul, but I simply can’t overlook the fact that majority of Americans knew who he was, witnessed the same January 6th I did, and elected to restore that guy to office. In something that shouldn’t have been remotely close, he won. That speaks more to the mentality of average Americans than it does what the democrats did or didn’t do this cycle.
Democrats aren’t faultless here, they continuously bury their best candidates for political nepotism (and I personally feel Biden would have been a solid president in 2016), lack courage when defending their positions, and are generally too worried to rock the boat that benefits their donors. I personally want funding limits in elections and ranked choice voting in all things and to curb this nonsense, yet the fact Donald Trump secured that many votes, the fact I have neighbors who fly his flag as a symbol of strength, gives me little hope for the future of this country.

I whole heartedly agree with your points, however I think it’s important to note that Trump did win the popular vote this time around, which if nothing else showcases how far the US has fallen.

Is it just me, or does this trivia game heavily favor PlayStation? Today’s solution was cross platform, yet the only mention of it was the PlayStation version and what made it unique.
What I found interesting was the rationale behind the 16 available colors. Black and white, RGB, CMY, gray, and dark versions of each outside of B&W. Makes so much sense, but I never thought of it that way.
