It’s really just a comment on how often articles talking about how X, Y or Z will impact “The Economy” is mostly about how much money already absurdly wealthy people will gain or lose. Hence replace “The Economy” with “Rich People’s Yacht Money” in the headlines to get an arguably more accurate headline. Also I don’t think anyone give a shit about upvotes on Lemmy, could be wrong though. As for Florida, I’m not in the US so not super familiar with the climate in various parts of each state but snowfall in Florida seems pretty crazy since I thought Florida is pretty tropical/subtropical. If I have offended you please accept my apology as it was definitely not my intention to offend anyone and especially anyone who is experiencing a natural disaster.
