It’s a little bewildering trying to figure out who I am after the divorce. My diet has gone to shit and I’m afraid to step on the bathroom scale but I’ve unleashed my creative side to do quite a few art projects recently. It hasn’t been all bad.

I know it’s time to write another novel but I’m scared to take on a project that big so I’m procrastinating.

We try on a pair of shoes before we buy them. We try on coats and jackets and pants. Why don’t we get to try out canes?
