Yeah, it can be hard to find files sometimes. File Navigator solves this problem perfectly.

Technology@lemmy.world•Microsoft CEO says up to 30% of the company's code was written by AI | TechCrunchEnglish
2·8 个月前Basically, there was a security flaw with Microsoft’s Internet Information Services (web server software) that could be exploited by an attacker to gain access to files and folders they shouldn’t be able to (permission escalation?). Well, instead of providing an actual fix to the problem as a whole, they applied a bandaid fix by creating a new folder named “inetpub” on peoples system drive, and apparently the presence of the folder is able to prevent the exploit from working. People noticed the folder and deleted it because they thought it was being created by an attacker, so Microsoft had to tell people not to delete it.
It use to be open source. When they launched V5 this year, they decided to take down V4 and make the project closed source. You can still find forked repos of V4 on github that can be used freely.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Younger users of Lemmy: Did you ever love a game that you just really sucked at?
1·2 年前For me it was Rainbow Six Siege.
Absolutely fell in love with the gun play (leaning in that game is my favorite mechanic in any game), destructible environments, operator gadget interactions, and repelling.
However, I was trash at the game because of slow reflexes due to bad eyesight, and poor aim. Relied on the gadgets while my team got the kills.

Pornhub loads videos slightly quicker (not from personal experience)? I dunno
Because it’s one of the only remaining browsers (the other one being Safari) that doesn’t run on Chromium. We must protect FireFox and Safari with our lives because if they die out then Google has a monopoly on the browser space. Not something anyone wants… I mean look at their Manifest V3, and web DRM controversies. They are trying to ruin the web. Don’t let them people!
Plus, I just like the ability to customize the toolbar, and FireFox Sync is just brilliant for syncing between mobile and desktop!
Minecraft before Microsoft bought it out and forced me to make a Microsoft account just to play it.

The oldest games I’ve been playing probably has to be Banjo-Kazooie, Maximo, Crash Bandicoot, and Jak and Daxster. All amazing games!
