Well that’s rather indeterminate.

I don’t understand the comparisons people make between OSS and comunism. Comunism is a flavor of old-world authoritarianism, based upon the idea that mankind is incapable of choosing the right thing, so the right choice is instead mandated by law. OSS’s emhasis on freedom, choice, and the lack of any kind of governing authrorty or social dogma, as well as the inherent trust in the majority public to choose the right (to donate or contribute) has a lot more in common with liberalism than comunism.
Pretty sure it’s basicaly

Data types do matter, and someone’s got to declare them at some point, or else your compiler won’t know how to intepret them. It’s just a question of who should be doing the declaring: you, or a parser algorithm? Personally, I don’t like things being done for me.
Oh hur hur hur(d)
There is linux without gnu. Is there gnu without linux? sure, but I don’t know anyone who uses hurd.
Alpine should be considered harmful
that’s a rather anti-liberal sentiment coming from what one would assume to be a mostly pro-liberal open source community.
was Stallman really the author of that copypasta? I mean it’s funny to pretend he did, but does anyone know for sure?

Put my mother on mint. The only issue she encountered was the mouse cursor not appearing sometimes, but that hasn’t happened in a while. Other than that, she can hardly tell the difference from windows 10. You should go through with it.
The c build system that comes with visual studio. You pretty much have no choice but to use it if you’re writting c on windows.
Classic microsoft, making the worst possible version of something, and somehow finding a way to force everyone to use it.
I agree, but I don’t want to use one until an open source one exists.
People using the term ‘subroutine’ like it’s 1976
