Correction: you messed up your internet connection

As another said on the thread — it’s not really Linux that is the issue here as much as the internet. Browsers are just memory hogs now and you’re not going to get an enjoyable experience on 2gb of ram imo, if the goal is to have a functional laptop. OTOH, it would be a great little project server to play around with things like pihole or your Arrs🏴☠️ or other self hosting goodness.

Patient in that it came out way back at the beginning of twenty ‘ought twenty-four, cheap in that its fifty percent off; the new prince of Persia game is precisely correctly priced at twenty dollars and fun as hell.

Do you feel like a clever boy now?

Link for the hdd? I’ve got like five 5tb drives all wired to a usb hub and need to bite the bullet and get some real storage solutions.

What does that 50TB look like? I’m pushing up against 25 at this point but it’s shamefully all usb hdds plugged into a usb strip in a mini pc, and it’s less than ideal.

Plex is based on XBMC/ KODI, and both excel at basically being a VLC - playing anything and everything locally or over the LAN. Jellyfin on the other hand is excellent at creating a personal Netflix you can access from outside your network, but because it runs through the browser youre more likely to have transcoding issues and you’re not going to have that Swiss-army knife, can-play-everything-you-throw-at-it like Kodi and Plex can. I use both.
I mean I don’t understand the accolades for literally just following the law.
