Both my parents smoked, my mom quit when she got pregnant with me (so I’ve been told). My sperm donor did not quit, and piled alcohol and weed addictions on top. So my mom was certainly around a lot of secondhand smoke while I was incubating.
I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 40’s. Pretty sure one of my two sisters also has it but probably not diagnosed (I haven’t asked).

Gotcha! I always just considered it a genre of movies I watch, but of course there are as many genres of anime as regular movies have.

That’s what happened with me and anime. First thing I ever saw was Akira, sometime around 1992. Very, very few anime movies have even come close to measuring up to that first experience. So I actually don’t have a lot of interest in seeing much new stuff in that genre anymore.
Remember kids, the ground does not care WHAT you fell off of, only how fast you are going when you meet it. Wear gear! Your standard bike riding outfit is going to shred like tissue paper if you come off this at anything over about 30mph.
You got closer than me the one time I ran out of gas on my V-Strom. I knew with my route plan that day I was cutting it real close, and ended up pushing the bike 150 yards or so into the gas station on my last leg. Oops!
It’s still a huge help. You don’t have to solve all of a persons problems to help them with one of their problems.
