Thanks for the insight. That’s a really awesome use case: near real-time health tracker data.

So far the switch has been fantastic. Its just taking time to write new scripts and such as I port my old windows workflows over to Linux.
The one thing I haven’t gotten working is SteamVR. I’ve only been able to launch into the steam vr home and it puts me underneath the floor. I can teleport move around but can’t interact with things and it leaves me under the floor.
These used to be one of my favorites, they really shot up in price

Ok, have fun on windows while the rest of us move to Linux and enjoy gaming there.
The product key didnt have -TRUMP- in it so it’s fine
Thank you :)
Oooooooo… nice doodle!
Thanks for the lolz

I got a much better response than anticipated. I love it! Ive been trying to make an effort to contribute to Lemmy instead of just lurking. I also started making some small contributions to Lemmy and Lemmy.world.
I love it here, thanks for your participation everyone!

This looks like it might be the bottom of the mountain in the old game SkiFree

I like it

Maybe tomorrow? :)

I took it as we can’t just assume we know the best way to help, that we need to listen to the victims so that our actions are aligned with their needs.

That’s fair. I’ve been using the web interface to claim the games and the heroic launcher on my steam deck.

+1 Syncthing-fork Started using it a few months ago to sync notes between desktop and phone. Since it’s just a synced directory ive also used it to copy other files back and forth quickly
Oh, but my piHole has been running for a very long time
Boot up in the morning, shut down before bed. Small home server that uses about $1.50/month in electricity that i leave on 24/7 running jellyfin and mealie
I like to imagine I’m sitting by a river and remember that the thoughts are not mine, they are just part of the collective consciousness and flowing by. Not always easy, but this exercise is extremely helpful for me.

Plenty of Fish here too! It was my first time trying an online date after a bad breakup and my friends encouraging me to try it out. We talked on the phone for a couple weeks and then met for coffee and ended up talking for 3 hours. We’ve been together since (12+ years ago) and got married 8 years ago.
I just started going to a Unitarian Universalist church. I grew up Catholic and couldn’t stand it. Instead of reading from the Bible or talking about God they are reading words from civil rights activists and talking about how to build community and resist ICE. I really have been enjoying this as a way to actually get out of the house and connect with people with similar values. This Sunday I signed up to help in their garden planning for this season too.
