Both. It makes it easier to keep in touch technically, but whether or not they are responsive is a whole other story.

what’s the point of copying over stuff from reddit here? If anything, why not make a separate community for that? If it’s to archive it would be better to put it elsewhere dedicated to that.

fair enough. If there’s anything that apple still has going for it is the look of the OS as a whole.

Apparently for some people they see it as a gimped version of IOS somehow. If anything IOS from what I’ve used before is so much more locked down now than it used to be when I had a 3G. But yeah the stigma is there with some people, but it doesn’t really matter at this point. If you want to side load apps, use android because you don’t have to go out of your way to get dev permissions, hook it up to the PC to install, and constantly re-approve your side-loaded apps. Seriously that shit gets annoying real fast.

I mean, I probably would use them on the side if third party clients still worked properly. instagram and facebook don’t really have a reliable client to view it’s pages anymore and reddit/twitter clients are either pay-walled or just don’t work anymore because of their crackdowns. Either way it’s not like I’m losing sleep over it, especially when discord and the fediverse exist.
