I know someone who traveled a good chunk of North America by land (~3000 miles). I thought that was crazy enough already but your trip was not only more than twice the length, but crossed wildly different countries and was done pre-smartphones.

In Mexican Spanish, you would default to formal ‘you’ in most public interactions (although not all people do this). You would also use formal language when talking to a teacher or an authority.

• Formal ‘you’ (singular): usted
• Formal and informal ‘you’ (plural): ustedes
• Informal ‘you’ (singular): tú

Note that the informal and formal ‘you’ in plural are the same.

Fun fact: formal language in Spanish is more than just formal ‘you’.

E.g., if you’re working at a fancy shop and wanted to ask a customer “how may I help you?”, you would say “¿en qué le puedo ayudar?” (formal) instead of “¿en qué te puedo ayudar?” (informal). This question does not have ‘you’ in Spanish.

It’s not linear. By that I mean that 30 minutes daily is more than twice the improvement over 30 minutes day on day off.

Definitely trying to stick to daily practice.

KISS is so good. It’s 100% the fastest way to get to where you wanna be when you pull up your phone.

I love KISS launcher. I can’t go back to normal launchers. Been using it for years.
