I’m clueless about Linux, so I tried it. It seems to be just working for me for most of my Steam library, at least with Proton Experimental. I don’t have a XBone controller, but my SteelSeries knockoff does fine. That said, I have no idea what might cause it to break. (Though, it doesn’t seem to like my mechanical hard drives much.)

As an 80s kid, hitting 40 was the best thing that ever happened to me. Shit that used to matter suddenly doesn’t, like you flipped a lightswitch. You get new superpowers, and they’re all bitchy. I recommend it to everyone.

This is the advice I came here looking for. I’m intimidated by the switch and have no time, but if there’s a distro that’s easy to get going, I’m there for it. I’ll check it out!
