This cake melts in your mouth! Recipe is being circulated, looks delicious and most of all…easy to make, thought I would share.
Ingredients:
- 200 ml Orange juice
- 160 g Sugar
- 100 ml Vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tbsp Orange zest
- 300 g Flour
- 16 g Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Vinegar 1
- 80 ml Boiling water
Instructions:
Add ingredients one at a time and whisk between each addition.
Oil and flour and parchment paper line a 22cm/9”) spring form pan.
Bake for 35 minutes at 180°C/350°F.
Let cool for 10 minutes and serve.

Orange/lemon and carrot cake have always been my favourites, but wet cakes are so hard to veganize. Thanks for this, it looks delicious.

It went fairly well. I made it with fresh orange juice. The orange flavour came out quite subtle. I would replace the water (although I used soy milk) with just more orange juice.
