I’m mad that you think merely supporting democrats is sufficient. Sure, circling the drain slowly buys time, but if you aren’t using that time for something productive, what are you actually gaining? You’re one of a handful of people with the resources to actually make a difference, and you’re wasting them? At the very least stop trying to discourage people from seeing the systemic problems and start pointing them at organizations that will do what you apparently are too busy with your yacht to support.
