Ukraine was forced to attack Russian refineries by Trump’s war on Iran. That war sent fuel prices skyrocketing, and thereby also Russia’s oil revenue, which Putin uses to fund the war. In order to hinder Russia’s ability to wage war, Ukraine had no option but to start blowing up Russian refineries. At least that way Russia doesn’t profit from Trump’s inflated oil prices.
And with Russian strikes against Ukrainian energy infrastructure, it’s impossible to argue it’s not a legitimate target. If Trump doesn’t like it, he has to provide an alternative. Complaining about the consequences of his actions isn’t going to fix anything.

Yea I know we rely on US equipment but what I’m saying is that we can order ammo for that equipment and pass it on. A lot of countries have passed on the equipment too. Trump could stop sale to the Europeans but that would cause a lot of headaches as there are already contracts in place for it and we are one of the larger markets.
Are you under the impression that Trump gives a fuck about Europe? The headaches are only going to be an issue if they’re bigger than his domestic headaches with maintaining power. Contracts with Europe are only interesting for people with power to negotiate or cancel them. 😄
