Indigenous people are victims too. They’ve worked with and not against the earth for millennia and it’s the more privileged who have made this our reality. It’s not for a white anglo like myself or others to condemn those people yet again.
They didn’t. The abusive rich and powerful white people who were either racist, indifferent towards vulnerable groups, or both, made it about (amongst other things) race.
