Finally! Firefox and Chrome are the only web browsers on iOS that do not have an ad blocker. Even Edge has an ad blocker. I have Firefox installed on iOS for syncing with my other devices, but use Brave as my default because of Firefox’s lack of ad blocking. I would love to use Firefox exclusively.
You know, an independent developer ported Gecko and extension functionality onto Firefox!

Just imagine if Mozilla actually did something like this and even diverted a little money from their Venture Capital division into lobbying for this to be accepted on the series!
Still just a theme on Safari. And Safari with Wipr2 blocks everything or just about.
What Firefox needs on iOS is a way to force Apple to allow them to put the actual browser (like they have on Android) on iOS, not just a Safari theme.
Otherwise… what’s the point?
Mozilla won’t be able to change Apple’s mind but EU can. If you need browser level Adblock on iPhone uBlock origin is already available on App Store
I was in the TestFlight, and it’s decent. I prefer Wipr2. But if you don’t want to spend the money, uBlock will get you most of the way there.
