The reversal of Folarin Balogun’s World Cup suspension is highly unusual. It was the first time since 1962 that FIFA has nullified a suspension for a red card received during the World Cup.


I’m a football (as it’s actually called) fan and I AM indeed boycotting it.
Haven’t seen a minute of it, haven’t spent a dime on it directly or indirectly.
So there by definition IS a boycott, however small and unorganized.
You’re probably right about meaningful impact, though, since I don’t personally know of anyone else boycotting it 😮💨
