    Apparently it’s a revival of a previous mayor’s tradition, but from 2003. When I first read about the tradition I thought it would be much older lol.

    On the one hand I want to gag at the thought of a suit being in the pool but on the other I love and miss public pools. I really took for granted the outdoor pools in my home town (not NY) even though I used them regularly. I thought they were normal 😭
