I’ve been working on Hideout over the past few weeks and am currently adding email notifications for things like friend requests and room invitations so users don’t miss activity when they’re offline.

Before I roll it out, I have a question: do notification emails like friend requests, room invites, and account-related alerts need to be specifically mentioned in the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, or is a general notification section usually enough?

I’m also looking for feedback on the platform as a whole. If you have a few minutes, I’d appreciate any thoughts on:
