The charity said changes in land management included reducing grazing pressure and allowing grasslands, hedgerows and scrub to recover to create “ideal conditions for voles and other prey species”.

For poppa owl to hunt enough to support 10 other owls and himself, they must have a very balanced ecosystem in place. Small changes can make a huge difference for small creatures and are generally pretty easy to achieve if we put some thought into it.
